INDUSTRIAL OILS

Industrial Oils
It is formed by obtaining base oils, which are the raw materials of mineral oils, by going through special processes. These oils are classified according to their viscosity. It is not possible to obtain all mineral oils directly. Mineral oils are obtained by mixing various additives selected according to the characteristics expected from the product to base oils of different viscosities. Without industrial lubricating oils, almost all machines will suffer from wear and tear and stop working. Lubrication is essential for all processes in industrial sectors. Lubrication is considered as vital a part of the machine as any of its mechanical elements. The bearings, gears and other elements that make up any machine today must be carefully designed and precision manufactured with the best materials to meet the demands of modern high speed production. However, these same parts without proper lubrication show rapid wear and tear and soon cease to function.

The main characteristics that oils must have in order to be considered good are:

• High boiling point and low freezing point (Good performance over wide temperature range)
• High viscosity index
• Thermal stability
• Hydraulic stability
• Departure from water
• Corrosion prevention
• High resistance to oxidation

Usage areas
Industrial oils are oils used in industrial and commercial applications as opposed to oils used for personal or domestic use. Industrial oils are formulated to meet the specific needs of different industries and are used for a wide variety of purposes as lubrication, cleaning and raw materials for the manufacture of other products. Industrial oils are used in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, transportation and power generation.

Industrial Oil Types

It can be obtained from a variety of sources, including industrial oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils, and synthetic oils. Lubricating oils are classified according to their properties and intended use, such as hydraulic oils and transformer oils. Some examples of industrial oils include:

Lubricating oils: These oils are used to lubricate machines and reduce friction and wear.

Hydraulic oils: These oils are used to transmit power and provide lubrication in hydraulic systems.

Transformer oils: These oils are used to insulate and cool electrical transformers.

Compressor oils: These oils are used to lubricate and cool compressors.

Industrial gear oils: These oils are used to lubricate gears in industrial machinery.

Heat transfer oils: These oils are used for heat transfer in industrial processes.

Metalworking fluids: These oils are used in metalworking processes to lubricate and cool the tools and workpiece.

A) HYDRAULIC OILS
B) COMPRESSOR OILS
C) ENGINE OILS
D) GREASES

A. HYDRAULIC OILS

• Provides the opportunity to work in wide temperature zones with its high viscosity index.

• Provides excellent oxidation resistance under the most severe operating conditions.

• Anti-wear and load-bearing features to protect the pump and moving parts.

• It provides protection against corrosion of the system,

• Low pour point for flowability at low temperatures.

• Appropriate viscosity selected for the process.

• Non-foaming and repelling air entering the system (demulsibility).

• Compatibility with hydraulic sealing elements.

• Excellent hydraulic stability and filterability

B. COMPRESSOR OILS

The compressor is one of the most critical components in industrial equipment, but when a compressor breaks down, the entire operation stops. They can be subject to chemical wear, mechanical wear, oil oxidation, deposit formation and water pollution.

Some compressor oils can cope with a change in operating temperature and generally have a short service life. Compressor oils from NCH Lubricants are different. We use synthetic base oils that contain antioxidants to help ensure long oil service life.

Whether it’s water pollution, low efficiency or high discharge temperatures, NCH Lubricants can help. We have developed a full range of compressor oils to withstand extreme temperatures, pressure and humidity without deteriorating or leaving rotors and bearings dry.

C. ENGINE OILS

Without the right protection, vehicles can become susceptible to wear, corrosion, poor fuel economy and poor cold starts. Using high performance engine oil can change everything. We offer engine oil solutions for gasoline, gas and diesel engines.

Powerful additives protect against corrosion, polishing, bore polishing and sludge buildup, while our advanced lubrication technology ensures higher productivity, less equipment downtime and better maintenance costs.

Our range of engine oils has a powerful additive system to keep engines running longer, providing excellent protection at start-up and optimized fuel economy.

NCH Lubricants offers comprehensive solutions for multi-fleet applications designed to provide temperature stability, engine protection, year-round use and reduced product inventory.

D. GREASES

NYTRO Taurus is an unlimited transformer oil conforming to IEC 60296 Version 5.0. Developed and formulated to provide solid resistance to oil degradation, NYTRO Taurus provides good oxidation stability thanks to its natural inhibitors. This increases the possibilities for longer transformer life with less maintenance.
